Our visit

We went to the salt mine in end of February 2024. It was a fantastic experience, even with kids. We hadn’t reserved in advance but did check the schedule of the visits and arrived early (but we would advise to reserve if you are coming during the high season). It costed us a total of 65 € for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it was possible to pay with a credit card. We went down 230 meters under ground with the service elevator and walked for a bit more than 1 km in the tunnels. Our tour guide was a nice lady who kindly explained about the history of the mine, the mining process and the machines. We were also surprised to discover that some ‘rooms’ were used as art galleries and event receptions.
