Our visit

When leaving the cork factory, we saw on Google map that this palace was in the area and decided to give it a go. It costed us around 6 € in total to get in (3€ per adult and free for children) through the reception of the hotel – it’s not much but it is fair to say that we didn’t get much for our money. While the few rooms of the palace to which we had access as well as the gardens were nice to see, there wasn’t much to do. We found out that the access to the other side of the gardens (not belonging to the hotel / palace) is completely free and had a viewpoint on a giant stork nest.
